As you all know I love to find new recipes for cooking at home with the kids or on my own to de-stress (yes cooking does that for me!). I love to cook when I get the time so I’ve been doing some research, partly for new recipes to try but also looking at new kitchen equipment.
Bread makers by Panasonic- I used to own a bread maker but it was well, old and rubbish, so I’ve been thinking of buying a new one and decided to have a search on the web and see what caught my eye! I’ve found the mother of all bread makers, it does everything from bread to jams and compote. The more I read up on it, read the online instructions and the cool kitchen recipes link that’s also provided by Panasonic, the more I decided this is the winner for me and I’m nice enough to share it with you all! Here is the link- http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/home-appliances/breadmakers.html and there’s such a variety of prices starting from as little as £99.99! Gluten free is becoming a lot more common now and this bread machine provides programmes to allow you to prepare gluten free pasta, breads and cake dough giving everyone the convenience of food tailored to your needs! With it being compact and not huge in size it means I won’t be worried about loosing worktop or cupboard space too!
I’ve researched a couple of top bread maker recipes for you all to try out!
Banana and chocolate chip bread-
- 2 bananas mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Half a tsp baking soda
- 2 cups of bread flour
- Half a cup of chocolate chips
- Half a tsp of salt
- 2/3rd cup of sugar
- Half a cup of chopped walnuts
- 1/3rd cup of melted butter
- 1oz of milk
Pour your eggs, butter, milk and bananas into the bread pan and set aside. Next combine all of your dry ingredients into a medium bowl and stir until well mixed. Add dry ingredients into the bread pan also and press the “quick bread” button on your bread maker. At the end of the cycle insert a long knife of skewer into the bread to see if it’s cooked through, if it comes out clean it’s ready to remove. Once done, remove from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Slice and serve!
Next up is..
extremely soft white loaf of bread.
- 1 cup of hot water
- 2tsp of yeast
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 tsp of salt
- 3 cups of white flour
Place your hot water, yeast and sugar into your bread machine. Leave to stand for 6-12 mins depending on the temperature of your water. Your yeast will start to foam, add remaining ingredients. You can use rapid or basic white cycles on your machine or bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 350’c.
I love searching for new things to try and sharing with all of you guys so if you try either recipes or indulge in the new Panasonic bread maker in all its glory, let me know what you think by leaving me a comment! Here’s the link one more time. http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/home-appliances/breadmakers.html !
