My Top Holiday Hairstyles πŸ’–

In case you didn’t know we’ve been on our holidays! Where I’ve been so busy working and taking care of the kids I didn’t get round to writing any “holiday lead up” posts before we went, but don’t fret I have a couple on the way for you all!

As if us girls need anything else to worry about while we’re abroad, but hair worries are always at the top of my list. I go through a full Monica from Friends faze “ITS THE HUMIDITY”! So I pack all my lotions and potions and masks to try and keep my hair looking and feeling good whilst I’m away.

Millie has naturally curly hair and it’s got some frizz to it on a good day so you can imagine how her hair grows during the hot weather, in case you can’t here’s a pic I took on the first day in Mallorca, after she’d travelled with her hair in Infinity braids which I thought was hilarious!

Diana Ross at its finest!!!

So my goal was to keep the hair tame but still looking pretty in the evenings when we were getting glammed up for entertainment and dinners out, also we wanted something that lasted which all of the hairstyles I did lasted over night and the next day by the pool with a bit of minimal tweaking and I found that brilliant!

The Braided Alice Band-

This ones so simple. 2 dutch braids starting from each ear, aligning along each other and gripping into place. I moose’d the loose hair to make it extra curly and it stayed in place until the following evening! So by the pool the next day I tied her hair in a pony to keep it out of her face while she swam like a mermaid all day! This ones my favourite and is a go to style of mine.

Front Lace Braid and a side Pony-

Another easy one but here’s a more detailed How-To πŸ‘‰πŸΌHOTW- 4 Dutch lace braids ❀

Reverse Flip Dutch Braids-

A hairstyle that’s slightly trickier but once you know how it’s easy like the others, looks quite fancy too! Here’s a How-To πŸ‘‰πŸΌhttps://mumonamissionsite.com/2017/01/20/hotw-flip-dutch-braids-%EF%B8%8F/

Dutch Braided Space Buns-

Another go to hairstyle for me and super tidy! The only tricky part to this hairstyle is braiding with her head upside down and starting from the neck and working back up! Remember practise makes perfect πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ.

Half Up Big Hair Bow-

This ones a hard one and takes a lot of practise, whenever I do this style I probably do it 2-3 times before I’m happy with it! Millie wanted us to have straight hair on this night so I needed a half up half down style, so I went with this!

Millie got so many compliments from the hotel and bar staff every evening on her hair and she LOVED it! She’d come back saying “keleigh keleigh the lady at the bar said my hair was sooooooo pretty!!” Her hair was spot on most days even if I do say so myself Ha!!

who can go wrong with a trusty classic of braided pigtails πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ.

I’ll be posting a couple of how-to videos soon and a big hair bow will be one of them so keep an eye out, in the mean time here’s a quick video I made on an Infinity Dutch Braid πŸ‘‰πŸΌ https://youtu.be/3jNJHIp1SJQ

Enjoy! Ox
